The 4th Saint Quentin en Yvelines Chess Tournament (15-22 april 2001)

En avril 2001, Yoshiharu Habu est venu en France pour participer au 4e tournoi d'échecs de Saint Quentin En Yvelines, proche de Paris. Yoshiharu a réalisé une norme de MI en terminant 7e parmi un groupe de forts joueurs d'échecs.

In april 2001, Yoshiharu Habu came to France to play in the 4th Saint Quentin en Yvelines Chess Tournament, near Paris. Yoshiharu performed an IM norm by finishing 7th amoung a field of strong chess players.

Habu's Magical Tour in Paris (13-22 may 2002)

Du 13 au 21 mai 2002 s'est tenu dans les locaux du NAO Chess Club un excellent tournoi d'échecs de catégorie V dans lequel Yoshiharu Habu vient de participer. Ce tournoi a été suivi d'une simultanée donnée par le meilleur joueur actuel de shogi dans le salon d'honneur du service culturel de l'Ambassade du Japon à Paris.

From the 13 to the 21 may 2002, an excellent tournament has been organized in the NAO Chess Club. This was not a shogi tournament but a category V chess tournament and Yoshiharu Habu participated. On the 22 may, the 4 Crowns shogi player gave a shogi simul in the honour room of the cultural service of the Ambassy of Japan in Paris.
